NiEl’ Bridal Atelier is a couture bridal house where European craftsmanship meets refined Southern elegance. Founded by a master designer Mykola Vyshyvanyuk with over 30 years of experience, our atelier specializes in custom-made bridal gowns, expert alterations, and one-of-a-kind creations tailored with precision, artistry, and intention. Every gown is designed and handcrafted in-house, using the world’s finest fabrics and laces sourced from France, Italy, and Spain.

NiEl’ Bridal Atelier was originally founded in Ukraine in 2013. The Vyshyvanyuk’s established the business after personally experiencing the challenges of purchasing a wedding dress online or off the rack while preparing for their own wedding.

Designer Mykola received training at the Veloudakis College of Art and Fashion in Athens, Greece. After spending 11 years as an assistant designer and pattern developer for the Italian brand Maurizio, he decided to embark on designing wedding gowns for his own brand, starting with his bride-to-be's gown.

For 10 years, the Vyshyvanyuk’s ran a successful bridal shop, the original NiEl’, in Lviv, Ukraine. The boutique was known and respected for its exclusive designs and full-service approach. Due to the Russo-Ukrainian War, the Vyshyvanyuk’s were forced to leave Ukraine and their business behind.

Now residing in Birmingham, Alabama, the family is in the process of reestablishing NiEl' to provide the same renowned service and care to a new set of clients, akin to the reputation their shop is known for.

NiEl’ is a fully family-owned and operated business. Mykola is responsible for overseeing the design and creation process, while Olena plays a pivotal role in supporting the boutique. She contributes by sewing gowns, sourcing materials and accessories, and assisting with day-to-day operations. Their three daughters serve as a source of inspiration for both their work within and outside the boutique.

Being a family-owned shop, NiEl’ benefits from a shared perspective and a strong foundation. The Vyshyvanyuk’s are deeply passionate about their work and derive immense joy from their ability to transform a bride, or anyone seeking the perfect gown, into the most beautiful version of themselves.

When it comes to dress design, NiEl's comprehensive process ensures that clients receive precisely the dress they've envisioned.

The house initiates each project with a designer consultation, offering clients the opportunity to express their vision regarding preferred style, fit, and aesthetics. They then collaborate with designer Mykola,

who creates an original sketch that will ultimately transform into the dress of their dreams.

After this initial consultation, Mykola meticulously crafts the final gown, complete with exquisite details and accents. From a lace A-line garment to a silk mermaid-style design, NiEl’ is fully equipped to construct your dream gown with unmatched expertise. Our tailored approach guarantees that each dress is precisely fitted to each client, minimizing the need for time-consuming alterations or adjustments.

The NiEl’ team also collaborates with each client to hand-select accessories, including veils, garters, and jewelry, in order to achieve each customer's radiant final look.
